What are drawing marks on a GN pan?

GN pans are formed from flat stainless steel sheets through a deep-drawing process. During forming, the material must flow evenly from the base into the sidewalls and corners.

If the material is too thin for the selected depth, the tooling is not properly designed, lubrication is inconsistent, or the forming process is not well controlled, visible stretch lines, uneven reflections, wrinkles or rough-looking areas may appear.
